The apartment
The most spacious duplex.
Heliconia is the most spacious apartment at Maison La Vesée. Designed to welcome several people in good conditions, with particular care for circulation, the distribution of spaces and each guest's comfort.
On the ground floor, the apartment features a living room with a leather sofa, a dining nook, the open kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub-shower and a separate WC. Upstairs, the master suite has its own adjoining shower room. The second bedroom, with two single beds, lets you organise the stay flexibly — for a family or for adults.
What makes Heliconia stand out isn't only its surface. It's the overall balance of its layout: you can stay as a group while keeping a real quality of privacy.

The living room, heart of the ground floor.
The living room sits at the heart of the ground floor. Black leather sofa, black marble coffee table, armchair: the seating is generous, designed for four adults settled comfortably. The palette is held — leather, marble, oak — without decorative excess.
By day, natural light bathes the room. In the evening, indirect lighting and table lamps extend the atmosphere. The sober oak TV unit marks the transition to the open kitchen without a break.
This is the room where the shared life unfolds: a staggered breakfast, an end-of-day read, an evening together. The duplex configuration lets everyone retreat when they want; the living room remains the meeting point.

The open kitchen and dining nook.
The kitchen opens onto the living room, without partitions. Black units around the sink and cooktop, generous worktop, full equipment down to the utensils — everything is here to cook without wondering what might be missing.
The oak table, set facing the kitchen, seats four. In the morning, natural light pours in; in the evening, the black pendant lights take over and structure the room. The ideal format for family meals as well as long evenings with friends.
Induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer sized for four, coffee machine: the kitchen lets you really stay, not just reheat. That's what changes everything over the length of a stay for several people.

The ground-floor bathroom.
The ground-floor bathroom is built around a vanity unit and a shower-fitted bathtub — wall-mounted shower and glass screen, all integrated into the same fixture. Grey wall tile, a clean-lined countertop: the room is held in a monochrome palette that rests the eye after a day outside.
The WC is separate at the exit, to preserve simultaneous use when travelling as four. With the shower room adjoining the master suite upstairs (Space 5 below), the apartment counts two water areas — each fully autonomous.

The master suite, upstairs.
The master suite is set upstairs. Queen Size double bed, built-in dressing, desk corner with a blue armchair: the room is sized for two adults staying for several days, with the right amount of room for suitcases, holiday clothes, a laptop set down.
The décor is well-kept without being heavy — sun-shaped gold mirror, gold bedside lamp, floral-pattern tapestry as accent. Blue and yellow cushions punctuate the bed without weighing the whole. Volumes stay generous, circulation fluid.
The suite has its own adjoining shower room (Space 5 below), so the master bedroom can operate fully autonomously: no need to cross the landing at night, no interaction with the second bedroom.

The suite's shower room.
Adjoining the master suite, this shower room is an extension of the bedroom's intimacy. White vanity unit, illuminated mirror, sober tap fittings: the layout stays minimal so the volume can breathe.
The shower-only format (no bathtub) is enough for the suite's two occupants — the ground-floor bath-shower remains available for whoever wants to linger. The two-bathroom layout is designed for four people sharing the apartment without getting in each other's way: each finds their own room.

The second bedroom, two single beds.
The second bedroom offers two separate single beds on a light-wood floor. An ideal format for two children, two friends sharing the apartment, or two adults who prefer their own beds without giving up the same room.
The décor follows the codes of the master suite — floral-pattern tapestry as accent, minimal furniture — to keep the duplex coherent. A desk with a rattan chair completes the room: useful for occasional remote work, a reading corner, or simply to set down a few belongings.
The chest of drawers and luggage space let you unpack neatly. The two occupants share the ground-floor bathroom — separate from the master suite, so no clash of schedules.

The private terrace.
The private terrace stretches in front of the kitchen, with table and armchairs. It is the natural extension of the stay in good weather — breakfast in the sun, lunch outdoors, an aperitif before heading to the shared pool or off to explore Flanders.
Sheltered from view by the building layout, it keeps a simple intimacy without heavy partitioning. The garden furniture is sized for four; a parasol is available in the hottest hours.

Morning is taken in common around the large table, the day unfolds at several paces — the pool, Lille, a walk on the Flemish side — and in the evening, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two WCs make a real difference to the quality of the shared stay.
